Constructed in 1972, Juniata High School serves the residents of Fermanagh Township,Walker Township, Beale Township, Spruce Hill Township, Tuscarora Township, Turbett Township, Milford Township, Lack Township, as well as Mifflintown, Mifflin and Port Royal boroughs.
Five elementary schools and one junior high school, Tuscarora Junior High School, feed into Juniata High School. J.H.S. currently has a teaching staff of approximately 40 and a student population of approximately 550.

There will be a financial aid night on Wednesday, September 20 at 6:30 P.M. in the JHS cafeteria. Mr. Dan Wray from PHEAA will give a financial aid overview and general information on the FAFSA. Seniors and parents are encouraged to attend.
A FAFSA Completion Day will be held on Saturday, October 21 at 10:30A.M. in the computer lab at JHS. Mr. Dan Wray from PHEAA will be on hand to assist parents and students with creating PIN numbers and completing the actual FAFSA, the online application for federal student aid. Please call the guidance office at the school and speak to either Mrs. Kile or Mr. Condo in order to have a count of how many people will be attending.
