Constructed in 1972, Juniata High School serves the residents of Fermanagh Township,Walker Township, Beale Township, Spruce Hill Township, Tuscarora Township, Turbett Township, Milford Township, Lack Township, as well as Mifflintown, Mifflin and Port Royal boroughs.

Five elementary schools and one junior high school, Tuscarora Junior High School, feed into Juniata High School. J.H.S. currently has a teaching staff of approximately 40 and a student population of approximately 550.

On Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 1:00 PM, JHS Freshmen will meet in the auditorium to begin discussing class scheduling for the 2016-17 school year.  This will include the option of going to the Mifflin-Juniata Academy (CTC) on Monday, February 22, 2016.

On Monday, February 22, 2016 at 12:30 PM, the guidance counselors, principal and/or vice principal will be taking the 9th grade class to tour the Mifflin County Academy of Science and Technology.   It is our intention to take the entire 9th grade class to insure that all students have the opportunity to tour. If for some reason you choose to not have your child attend with his/her class for the tour of the academy, please download and sign the form below and have your child return the form to the JHS office by Monday, February 15, 2016.  If we do not receive this signed form, by Monday, February 15th, we will be transporting your child to the Mifflin County Science and Technology academy.


On Friday, February 12, 2016 from 12 Noon to 6:00 PM, Mr. Dan Wray from P.H.E.A.A. will be on hand at Juniata High School to assist parents and seniors in completing their FAFSA, the online application for federal student aid.  One hour slots are available by appointment only.  To schedule your appointment, please contact either guidance counselors Mrs. Kile at 436-2913, Ext. 5046, or Mr. Condo at 436-2193, Ext. 5047.

–On the left side, click on “Report Cards.”

–On the main screen, click the Report Card of the Marking Period you wish to view.
