Congratulations to the following students for being selected as the April Student of the Month for their respective grade level.
This month's senior student of the month is Kylie Jewell. Kylie resides in Thompsontown with her grandmother, Kathy Clegg. She is active in the school’s volleyball and track teams. She enjoys being a student-teacher helper for Mr. Ritzman. Outside of school, Kylie enjoys being a CPYM junior youth leader.
The 11th grade student of the month is Emily K. Kerstetter. She is the daughter of Ryan and Crystal Kerstetter of Thompsontown. Emily is involved in FFA, girls basketball and cheerleading. Outside of school, Emily enjoys participating with Dance Fever Studio.
Ellyn Heister is the sophomore student of the month. She is the daughter of Chad and Cindy Heister of Thompsontown. She is a member of the school’s air rifle team. She also enjoys CPYM youth ministries.
Freshman student of the month is Seraphina Malocu. She is the daughter of Christopher and Jacqueline Malocu of Millerstown. Nina enjoys participating in the school musicals: just this year, she had the role of Alica Beineke in The Addams Family.
Hayden Cook (not pictured) is an 8th grade student from McAlisterville. She is the daughter of Josh and Erin Cook. She participates in the school’s band and also the field hockey team. She loves drawing in her spare time.
7th grade student of the month is Lewis Boop, also known as Kole. He is the son of Alan and Shannon Boop of McAlisterville. Lewis enjoys band and chorus. Outside of school, Lewis enjoys playing baseball.
