With this Super Bowl, the city of Philadelphia loses their third championship in the span of 4 months, starting with the Philadelphia Union losing the MLS cup, then the Philadelphia Phillies losing the World Series, and now the Eagles losing the Super Bowl. This Super Bowl was the first to introduce two starting African American Quarterbacks in NFL history, and the first to have one Kelce Brother on each team, Chiefs Travis Kelce, and Eagles Jason Kelce. 28.5 million viewers watched the Halftime show, less than last year's halftime show. Patrick Mahomes won the Super Bowl MVP as he played with an injured ankle. The Chiefs have reversed the coin curse of the Super Bowl, it is said that the last 10 winners of the coin toss have lost the Super Bowl, the chiefs won the toss but went on to have a 38-35 win. Patrick Mahomes also reversed a Super Bowl curse, it is said that the last 9 league MVPs that have won the award the same week as the Super Bowl, have lost the Super Bowl 99% of the time.
