While it may be past Valentine’s Day, February can be seen as a whole month of romance, and what could be more romantic than a musical. La La Land is a 2016 musical starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone about two people passionate about acting and music. Throughout the film the duo go through many trials and tribulations trying to find their stardom without straying too far with what they know and value. Without spoiling too much, let's just say the ending is a tearjerker. Rotten Tomatoes scored this one a 81 percent audience rating, putting this one into the spotlight.
