Warning: Major Spoilers

Season 3: Episode 1

-Chapter 17: The Apostate

The episode starts off with a kid becoming a Mandalorian and citing the Creed. Before he finishes citing the creed a huge water beast emerges from the water. The Mandalorians try to kill the beast. Then, Din Djarin(The Mandalorian) flies in with his spaceship (Naboo N-1 Starfighter) launching a missile into the beast, exploding it. The problem after this is that Din Djarin had removed his helmet in the previous season making him an apostate, and to be forgiven of his ways he must bathe in the living waters beneath the planet Mandalore. It is now his mission to cleanse himself. He then goes to meet an old friend, Bo Katan of Clan Kryze. She does not believe in the Creed so she takes off her helmet in front of people. She tells Djarin that there is no magic in the waters. After they talk he heads with Grogu (Baby Yoda) to Mandalore.

Season 3: Episode 2

-Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore

Din Djarin heads into Mandalore and gets attacked by green eyed beasts. He jumps into the mines and then gets captured by a robotic crab controlled by a robotic insect. Grogu tries to save him but has to leave and go tell Bo Katan that Djarin needs help. They leave together to go help but while this is happening Djarin is getting his blood taken out by the insect. Bo Katan comes in using the DarkSaber to kill the insect. She frees Djarin and they head to the waters to cleanse. While Djarin is bathing, he falls into the deep water and Bo Katan jumps in to save him.

Season 3: Episode 3

-Chapter 19: The Convert

The episode starts, Djarin and Katan going to Bo Katan’s castle on planet Kalevala. When they arrive they are attacked by advanced Tie Fighters. After they blow them up, they see that Tie Bombers are bombing Bo Katan's castle. Then an army of fighters go after Katan and Djarin. To escape, they jump to hyperspace away from them. The episode switches to the doctor from season one who was testing Grogu. He has now left his ways of the Empire and joined the New Republic. While there, he finds out he can not research his cloning technology. He tells a friend he has made and she takes him to a laboratory to secretly get the things he needs. After they leave, officers of the New Republic arrest the doctor, and you find out that he was set up by the other officer. She then takes him to a lab and turns on a mind flayer to max, potentially killing him. But before we know what happens, it jumps to Djarin and Katan proving to the Mandalorians that they have bathed in the waters and are cleansed. They are then welcomed to stay for safety with the Mandalorians at their secret covert.

Season 3: Episode 4

-Chapter 20: The Foundling

With Djarin, Katan, and Grogu now at the covert, Djarin is teaching Grogu how to become a Mandalorian. Grogu challenges a member of the foundlings to a darts battle, winning. A bat flies in catching the foundling. A group of Mandalorians with Djarin and Katan go to help. Meanwhile Grogu is getting a piece of Beskar armor made for him. But the pounding of the metal gives him flashbacks of Order 66. He then gets the piece of armor and puts it on his chest. Back to the Mandalorian, they find the beasts’ nest and end up killing the beast and taking the foundling back. With the Mandalorians back they bring the foundlings as well as the beasts’ children back to the covert. Bo-Katan, because of her efforts, is rewarded with beskar armor resembling the Mythosaur.

I think the first 4 episodes of the new season were very good. I have no complaints about the season so far. The only thing is the 3rd episode went a little too long but it was a very good episode nonetheless. I’m very excited to see where this season goes and takes us.
