Monday April 24th Xane Whitesel played his first single match of districts. Xane played Toryn Schmouder from Richland. In the first set Xane won 6-2, in the second set Xane kept his streak going with another 6-2 win. Later that day Xane played his second round of singles, playing Charlie Snee from Westmont. In the first set Xane lost 2-6, the second set Xane came back winning 6-2. Moving into the third and final set of the match, Xane and Charlie went into overtime. Xane managed to push his way through the match winning 7-6 making Xane undefeated for the day.
On Wednesday April 26th Xane played his third and final match in the championship.Xane played Sebastian Masterson from Westmont. In the first set Xane was up 3-2 but Sebastian managed to take the first set winning 6-2. In the second set Xane came back winning 6-2, and winning again in the third set with a score of 6-2. Xane won the championship making him the District VI AA Singles Champion.
