Emily Rook is the sophomore candidate for May’s Student of the Month! In school, Emily enjoys many of her classes, but most of all, she loves her Adv. Computer Science Class, taught by Mr. Shertzer. She loves this class because she says she learns so much and enjoys interacting with all her classmates. When Emily is not in school, you can find her leaping and turning in Margaret McCann’s School of Dance. She’s been dancing for almost 12 years now, and she truly loves it! Some of her hobbies include: drawing, reading, and playing video games. After high school, Emily is unsure of where her future will take her, but she’d love to go to college for psychology. Congratulations to the following students who were chosen for May’s Student of the Month: 9th grader - Jasper Shepps, 10th grader - Emily Rook, 11th grader - Brandon Snyder, and 12th grader - Madison Randolph!
