On May 18, 2023 the Juniata FFA Chapter went to Lake Tobias in Halifax for their annual spring trip. The Juniata FFA Chapter was permitted to fish, with a small payment, for bluegill, sunfish, along with some bass. We also got the opportunity to go on a safari, where we saw lots of different species of animals. Some of the animals we saw on the safari were llamas, water buffalo, white tail deer, donkeys, elk, watusi, yak, and Texas longhorns. Some other animals that you could’ve seen in the exhibits around the park were goats, tigers, bobcats, turtles, alligators, a few different types of monkeys, and hyenas. There was also a petting zoo for goats and rabbits for whom you could buy food to feed.
