With September wrapping up, the Juniata boys football team has a record of two wins and three losses. The team’s first game in August showed a rocky start for the season with a 56-21 loss against Troy. Despite the loss, the night proved to not be all bad, with one touchdown from Seth Laub and two from Jasper Shepps. Connor Boreman and Talan Barndt both posted six tackles, along with Jasper Shepps, who had nine.

Fortunately, Juniata was able to break their losing streak in their game against Newport. With one touchdown each from Julian Lopez and Gage Harlon, along with another three from Jasper Shepps, the game ended 33-6. Julian Lopez and Grant Reinhold each had a sack, and Lane Peiper posted two sacks, along with seven tackles. Connor Boreman also completed seven total tackles against the Buffaloes.
