Juniata High School

On October 18th, the Juniata softball team traveled to the Pennsylvania Capitol Building to be honored for their achievement as District Six champions and state championship runner-ups. Representative Perry Stambough had the team provided with a tour of the building, a meal, and an acknowledgment in the gallery. The girls were congratulated on the rarity of their accomplishments as a team from a small, rural school. Representative Stambough awarded the team with an official Proclamation of Recognition for the Juniata High School trophy case. The proclamation includes the names of all players and coaches and states, “The House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pays tribute to the members and coaches of the Juniata High School Softball Team.”
