Juniata High School

As of December 17th, the Juniata Boys’ Basketball team has a record of four wins and only one loss. The boys began their season with a 43-28 win against West Perry. A few days later, the team lost a close tournament game against SHCHS, 33-27. The following day, Juniata played Mount Union and came out with a 41-28 win. Juniata’s game against Newport resulted in a 37-28 win for Juniata, marking a good start for the first conference game of the 2023 season. On Friday, the Juniata boys ended the week well, beating SJCA 41-32 in a fast-paced game. Friday’s game made Juniata 2-0 in the Tri-Valley conference so far, and we hope to see the streak continue when the team plays at Greenwood on Tuesday. The only home game this week is Friday the 22nd— when Juniata will play another non-conference game—against Belleville Mennonite.
