Juniata High School

Congratulations to all of those who attended District Band this year! We had another record high with 13 total students going all the way to Glendale High School for this year’s District Band Festival. These students include Elizabeth Fultz, Cameron Good, Chris Martin, Slone Smith, Ava Stoner, Fiorella Berbergi-Giraldo, Ashlyn Fisher, Kayanna Kristula, Jessica Maben, Kate Nace, Grace Wagner, Hanna Erhisman, and Marissa Erhard accompanied by Mr. Eargle.  For those of you who don't know, Districts are a competitive way for students to experience playing in a different band, meet new people, and work with a guest conductor. It’s just like Districts for sports! This year’s guest conductor was Dr. Jim Coloona. He is the Director of Bands as well as a professor at Messiah University. I am also happy to announce we had nine students qualify for Region Band.  This will take place February 22-24 at the Bald Eagle Area High School. These students have put in a lot of hard work this year, and I would like to wish them luck on their journey going forward.
