Dear Parents/Guardians:
If you have a student who will be attending the JHS After Prom - we need your help!
After Prom is an event that provides a safe and fun environment for students to attend post prom. Our attendance grows year over year, and any JHS student in grade 11 or 12 is invited to attend, regardless of whether they attend prom. (JHS students in grade 9 or 10 can attend as well with their prom date)
An event of this size takes great coordination and requires many volunteers and funds. Historically this event has been supported solely by Junior Class families; however this year we are requesting support and involvement from all families with a student attending the event. We need assistance in raising funds for the 2024 After Prom and we need volunteers for preparation, execution and clean up of the event.
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 6th and we are strongly encouraging all parents/guardians who have a student attending after prom to join us for the meeting. Students are welcome to attend as well. The meeting is at 6:30 pm and will be held at Juniata Elementary, which is also the location of the after prom.
If you or your student are unable to attend this meeting, please reach out to any of the parent officers noted below to learn how you can help support the event.
We hope to fill the cafeteria on February 6th!
