Juniata High School

Juniata High School is proud to present Disney’s The Little Mermaid this year at the end of March. The whole Drama club has been gearing up for this presentation since before Christmas Break. Lots of work has gone into this; making boats, spray foaming coral, painting and glittering a beautiful backdrop, setting up new lights, and so much more! Not only had there been a tremendous amount of work done with props, but also with the cast. Ursula, played by Kate Nace has gained a whole new attitude! Scuttle (played by Wyatt Stroup) has learned to tap Dance, Ariel (played by Lexi Gilson) has been dancing and singing, her tone “as pure as ice,” and Sebastian (played by Slone Smith) has been working tirelessly to conduct his underwater band. With all of the work put into this show, it’s sure to be a good one! Stop by and see us perform on March 15th and 16th at 7 pm and March 17th at 3 pm. Don’t forget about the spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 on Saturday, March 16th before the show. All proceeds benefit the drama club and cross-country team.
