Juniata High School

The month of April was one to remember for the Juniata softball team. With a record of 14 wins and no losses, the girls have been plowing their way through the competition. So far, the team has defeated Penns Valley, Line Mountain, Selinsgrove, Upper Dauphin, Greenwood, East Juniata, Halifax, SJCA, West Perry, Newport, and Susquenita. Senior Pitcher Elizabeth Gaisor is making a mark with over 1000 strikeouts and 100 hits in her career. Liz is currently leading the state in strikeouts with 193 this season. Lexi Frontz also hit the milestone of 100 career hits this season. As of April 28th, the team is ranked 5th in the state and is expected to go far in the postseason.
