Juniata High School

On Monday, November 11, members of Juniata High School participated in the annual Veterans Day parade which was held in McAlisterville this year. Attending was Grace Beward, the recently crowned Veterans Queen, and the JHS marching band. The parade started at Rickenbaugh Building Supply, and ended at the Bread of Life Restaurant. Grace was paraded down the street in a red sports car. The Juniata County Marching Band played ‘Hooked on a Feeling’ for onlookers. This parade is held every year in honor of veterans both local and nationwide. There were also many trailers decorated throughout the parade in honor of service members. People from all over the county lined the street in support of our veterans and created a great turnout.
