homecoming

On September 26th Juniata County High School hosted their annual homecoming dance in the high school gym. This annual event brought students together for a night filled with music, dancing, pictures, and memories. The dance was held the day after the Homecoming football game, giving students a chance to celebrate with their friends after a busy week.

Students came dressed up for the occasion and gathered in a line outside the school to get in. Although there was no specific theme for the dance this year, the hallway was decorated with a photo area where students could take pictures and capture memories from the night. The backdrop featured pink and orange streamers, giving students a vibrant place to take pictures with dates and friends.

One special part of the evening was seeing Juniata's new Homecoming Queen, Julia Martin, make an appearance at the dance. Her attendance added another memorable moment to the night.

Throughout the dance, the music kept students on the floor. Thanks to our DJ (Mr. Premack), students were able to make requests and enjoy many different songs throughout the evening.

Overall, the 2026 Juniata Homecoming Dance was a memorable night for the students. Between dressing up, dancing, taking pictures, spending time with friends, and celebrating Homecoming together, students were able to enjoy an evening full of fun and school spirit.
