This year at JHS, the art students are creating differently than ever before with the brand new art class offered at JHS - ceramics. Led by teacher Sara Sutton, the students are getting hands-on experience working with clay in a variety of ways, including building with slabs, sculpting, coiling, and using the potter’s wheel. The students are creating usable works of art including bowls, plates, and most recently, flower vases.
