Parade

Last week started with a spooky treat, Juniata County Marching Band along with Mifflin County Marching Band, performed at the Lewistown Halloween Parade on October 27, 2021. The Juniata County Marching Band dressed up in a wide variety of costumes to keep the spirit of the season going. Many of the costumes worn included punk girls, toy story characters, hippies, Greek Gods, and many more. The Juniata County Marching Band played two tunes which included “Let Freedom Ring” and John Elton’s “I’m Still Standing” which was featured in this year's field show. Overall, the night was cold but there was a tremendous turnout of people at the 2021 Lewistown Halloween Parade. There was not only a high number of people, but there were many different floats in the parade itself. The Juniata County Cheerleaders, many local sports teams, Four Diamonds supporters, businesses, and many others were present.
