Hey guys! With winter sports starting I thought it would be a great idea to interview the Lady Indians Basketball coach, Mike Smith!
Q: “How do you think the team will be this season?”
A: “After a productive off season, including team camp and league play, we should be pretty competitive- although our team is small in numbers, we are fierce in competitiveness. I expect us to win the league (but what coach doesn’t?) “
Q: “What are you most excited about for the upcoming season?”
A: “I’m excited to have returning experienced players as well as two top 15 scorers. I am excited to show people what Juniata basketball is capable of and for the kids to showcase their skills! I am really looking forward to a team mentality this year and this group all meshes well. I’m excited for the future, we have nice numbers coming up through the program from 3rd grade up through 8th!”
Q: “What are you hoping to accomplish this year?”
A: “I want to win the league, beat our out-of-league teams, make it to districts and win!”
