Is planning parties a pain to you? Can you never think of ideas for them? I’m here to show you how to plan the best Valentine’s Day party ever. Parties have three main components- food, decorations, and activities.

For food, you want to plan on having a platter of fruits like strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, and bananas. All these colors mesh well together, and it will look like you spent a lot of time getting it ready when in reality you just bought the fruit and put it on a nice plate. To drink, have something red or pink to get into the Valentine mood. For example, pink lemonade or red fruit punch served in fancy glasses would both be good choices. For the main entree, do something that everyone can get involved in. You could have a pizza bar where everyone chooses their own toppings, or you could have a breakfast bar with everyone's favorite breakfast foods. After the main entree, wait and hang out a little, and then bring out desserts. For dessert, bring out something simple, like red velvet cake pops or a classic- chocolate covered strawberries.

Decorations are way easier than the food. They should be based around a white, pink, and red color scheme. Lay out some pink and red pillows and blankets, and hang streamers in doorways to give the house more character. You could also blow up different color balloons to leave around the house.

The last part of your party planning is the activities. Some good ideas for activities are watching movies and playing games. An interactive board game could make for a very fun party and get the people laughing and carrying on.

Happy planning everybody, and I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!!
