May Day will be held at Juniata High School at 6:00 on Saturday, May 7 th . The cost is $5.
Tickets may be purchased at the door. The event will begin with various performances by
students. The acts include singers Josie Abram, Emma Hazard, Valorie and Sarah Fisher, Aidan
Gardner, Ross Fogleman, Devahuti Calloway, Lexie Gilson, and Noah and Peyton Sheaffer. There
will be dancing performances by Elizabeth Beward, Devahuti Calloway, Emma Hazard, Lexie
Gilson, and Lily Hardin. There will be a band consisting of Maison Wolfe, Slone Smith, and Chris
Martin as well as a performance by Micah Fausey and his Dad!

Seniors
Presley Goodwin is the daughter of Heidi and Rich Goodwin of Mifflintown. She is enrolled in
the college preparatory curriculum. Presley is on the varsity softball team and in the Key Club,
S.A.D.D. Club, Scholastic J, Varsity J, and the National Honor Society. She is a member of Lower
Tuscarora Presbyterian Church and an employee at Harshbarger’s Sub ‘N Malt. Presley plans to
attend Penn College to study Surgical Technology. Her escort is Joshua Bomberger, son of
Denise and Dan Bomberger of Port Royal.
Emma Hazard is the daughter of Bob and Tina Hazard of Mifflintown. She is enrolled in the
business curriculum. Emma is in National Honor Society, Chorus, Band, Silks, Drama Club,
Newspaper Club, Yearbook staff, and Track and Field. She dances at Studio 32, interns at
Juniata Sentinel, and works at Hazard’s Distillery. Emma plans to attend Millersville University
to major in Journalism. Her escort is Jack Strawser, son of Brian and Kelli Strawser of Port Royal.
Emily Houtz is the daughter of Derek and Amy Houtz of Mifflintown. She is enrolled in the
college preparatory and AP curriculums. Emily is on the cross country and track & field teams and is in National Honor Society, Student Council, Newspaper Club, S.A.D.D. Club, Varsity J, andScholastic J and is also the Senior Class Vice-President. She is a volunteer at Food Box Ministryat Calvary Bible Church, a member of the Youth Group at Calvary Bible Church, and a lifeguard at the Central Juniata Park Pool. Her escort is Jacob Condo, son of Kurt and Jill Condo of Thompsontown.
Navi Jackson is the daughter of Jennifer Jackson and Jarred Dressler of Port Royal. She is
enrolled in the business and agriculture curriculums. Navi is on the softball team and in Student
Council and FFA as well as being the manager on the wrestling team. She is also the Juniata Fair
Queen and works. Navi plans to attend welding school. Her escort is Austin Derr, son of Erin
Derr of Mifflintown.
Ashlyn Pannebaker is the daughter of Shane and Danyelle Pannebaker of Port Royal. She is
enrolled in the business curriculum. Ashlyn is on the soccer and track teams as well as the
Yearbook staff, Student Council, and National Honor Society. She attends Cedar Grove Brethren
in Christ Church. Ashlyn plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and
continue her soccer career. Her escort is Max Lauver, son of Chuck and Wendy Lauver of
Mifflintown.
Emma Pannebaker is the daughter of Chad and Stacey Pannebaker of Mifflin. She is enrolled in
the college preparatory curriculum. Emma is on the soccer team and in Scholastic J and Varsity
J. She attends Cedar Grove Brethren in Christ Church. Emma plans to attend Central Penn
College and major in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Her escort is Trent Martin, son of

preparatory curriculum. Her activities at Juniata include cheering and track and field. Mariona
plans to attend college after graduation. Her escort is Louden Sheaffer, son of Mindy and Jay
Sheaffer of Mifflin.
Alexea Frontz is the sophomore attendant. She is the daughter of Corey and Nicole Frontz of
Thompsontown. She is enrolled in the college preparatory curriculum. Alexea is on the
volleyball and softball teams and is the secretary of Student Council and the vice president of
the sophomore class. She plans to attend college to be an ultrasound tech, get married, and
have kids. Her escort is Seth Laub, son of Shawn and Angela Laub of Port Royal.
Kirsten Krepps is the freshmen attendant. She is the daughter of Katie and Kenneth Krepps of
McCoysville. She is enrolled in the business and agriculture curriculums. Kirsten is a member of
the Beale Township Fire Company. In the future she plans to be adventurous wherever life
takes her. Her escort is Vaughn Davis, son of Kendra Davis of Mifflintown.
