Juniata High School

Students from Juniata’s own S.A.D.D club participated in Project Sticker Shock in partnership with the Juniata Prevention Board. Students traveled to local alcoholic beverage distributers to place stickers coined with the phrase “Parents that host lose the most” to warn of the consequences of underage drinking. Members went to three different distributors  and placed stickers on different brands and were also able to get a picture by the local newspaper. “Project Sticker Shock aims to prevent underage youth from obtaining alcohol from adults 21 or older or using a fake ID to purchase alcohol by raising community awareness by including youth in the prevention process and awareness of the topic.”
