Juniata High School Student Council encouraged students to participate in a food drive, as this would benefit our local food pantry that provides for our community. A total of 363 items were donated by the student body as well as faculty members and we collected $80 from a Hat Day here at our school, which was later donated to the food pantry in order to purchase larger items for Easter. The class that donated the most items was Mr. Eagle’s 8th period with 125 items, second place went to Mrs. Heidenreich, and third place to Mrs. Walters. The Student Council would like to thank everyone who participated in the food drive.
