Introducing April’s student of the month, we have Kyra Kauffman, a freshman here at Juniata. Kyra is a member of the student council and also sings in Juniata’s Chorus. Outside of school she participates in FFA, 4H, IEA, and Youth Rodeo! She lives with her parents at their house in Turbett township. As a freshman, Kyra isn’t sure what she wants to do after high school yet, and that’s okay! So far, she is considering joining the Air Force, or continuing her rodeo career professionally at a college or university. Right now she has her eyes on either Midway College or University of Kentucky, where she plans on studying Equine Science. (Man this girl likes horses) Her career of choice would be either an Equine Nutritionist or Veterinary Technician. (Like seriously) Her favorite class this year is Agriculture, taught by Ms. Morgan. A special congratulations to our other winners for their grades: Alexa Kuhn from tenth grade, Casey Smith from eleventh, and Tabitha Mills from twelfth.
