To kick off the end of this school year, Student Council held a color run of which students and all other members of the county were allowed to participate. Two runs actually took place, a full 5k and a shorter “fun run.” In both races, multiple stations were set up headed by different school organizations (sports teams, band, etc.) where participants were doused with a different color of powder. Many participants chose to of course wear white, causing them to reappear at the finish line looking vastly different than when they started! Thanks to the help of many students and high attendance from runners, the color run at JHS proved to be an enjoyable and successful event that will hopefully become tradition in the years to come!
