Rainy weather didn’t stop anyone from coming out to join the fun at the Juniata Fall Fest on October 1st 2022. Juniata Fall Fest was organized by the Juniata County Cheerleaders. The event started at 9 am and continued until 1 pm. It was held at the Juniata Fair Grounds in the barn. The short day was filled with plenty of fun to be had by all. There was pumpkin painting for the kids and fall decor for the adults. Plenty of food was available including Olivia's Fries, Smoke House Griddle, and Pelicans Snow Cones. There was also a baked goods stand and a coffee vendor set up. Aside from the good food, there were candles and car fresheners, fall signs and flags too. There was even an informational honey bee stand set up selling natural honey, and several sprint cars where there for people to see. Seeing as the cheerleaders were the ones who set this up, they also had a ton of fun stands set up themselves. There was a bouncy castle for the kids, walking tacos and drinks, and a game stand set up to win prizes for just a dollar at the spin of a wheel. They had a stand with a guess how many candy corn game, free footballs, and a poster showing the fun things they have done and what cheerleading is all about. Overall it was a great event with a ton of attendees and I hope to be able to go to it in the years to come too!
