  The Band and Chorus concert was Wednesday, December 7th, at 7:30 pm, directed by the JHS band and chorus teacher, Mr. Brad Eargle. The first group to perform was the choir, singing Amavolovolo, Jazz Cantate, Hush! Somebody’s Callin’ My Name, The Music of Stillness, and I’m Going Home. They were followed by the band who played Torch of Liberty, Old Brenton Carol, Ave Maria, Prelude and Fugue in Bb Major, and Ghost Fleet. In an interview, Mr. Eargle said that both groups did well, but the chorus had a cleaner overall performance during this concert. He rated the concert a 7.5 on a ten-point scale. He says the best songs from each group were I’m going home for the chorus and Torch of Liberty for the band.
