For Mom:

Mothers can be very difficult to shop for; every time you ask her what she wants for Christmas she says, “I don’t want anything, you don’t have to buy me something.” But we all know she’ll get mad if you don’t buy her something anyways. So some inexpensive options for your mom can include: a candle of her favorite scent, some warm fuzzy socks, a new blanket, a new sweater, perfume, or a mug/glass.

For Dad:

Dads can also be very difficult to shop for. It’s really a gamble if they even know it’s Christmas time. Some options for your father can be: a new watch, socks, a mug, an apron, or snacks.

For a Sister:

There are many options for what to get your sister, it comes down to how old she is and her preference in gifts. Based on experience, sisters are the easiest to shop for. Some basic things you could get is a new toy of some sort (Slime, stuffed animal, car, etc), perfume, a vinyl/CD, a gift card, a phone case, a face mask kit, fluffy socks, or a book. It really comes down to what your sister likes but here are some basic options.

For a Brother:

Now, I previously mentioned that parents were difficult to shop for, but brothers are definitely the hardest. Every time I ask either of my brothers, “What do you want for Christmas?” I’m lucky if I even get one word out of them. It also comes down to preference just like any other person. For your brother, you can give him: a hat, collector cards of some sort, a gift card, a graphic/band tee, or a book.

For a Friend:

This is by far the easiest person in your life to shop for. If you know your friends' preferences enough, this should be relatively easy. Get them a poster of their favorite celebrity, a shirt with their favorite artist, jewelry, a book, or make something for them.

Christmas can be a difficult time for buying gifts for your family. Especially when everything you look at may not be your family’s preference. Generic things that everyone loves would be socks, gift cards, blankets, scented things, snack baskets, and handmade crafts. Good luck to everyone who’s struggling to buy gifts for difficult family members!
