TJHS is again offering homework help for any students in grades 6 to 8. Homework Helper meets after school every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 for those students needing time to focus on doing their school work or those who need help doing their school work or study for tests. The sign-up sheet for Homework Helper is in the school office and students wishing to attend should sign-up the day they want to stay after school.
ATTENTION TJHS Hybrid and JCVA Students! If you are going to ride the bus to school or provide your own transportation to school for PSSA Testing the weeks of April 19 and 26, please contact Mrs. Shipp (sshipp@jcsdk12.org) at the TJHS office (717-436-2165) as soon as possible!
ATTENTION HRE and JCVA STUDENTS FROM T.J.H.S!!
PSSAs will be given on the following dates: April 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29, all beginning at 8:30 AM. Once testing is done for the day, we will be following our 2-hour delay schedule (below) that we use in the winter. HRE and JCVA students are permitted to return to their homes AFTER the testing period is finished each of the dates above. If you cannot get a ride back home until later that same day, you will still follow the same schedule as all other students in the building and you will need your iPads or whatever equipment you have at home in order to work here at school until someone can take you home.
Parents are reminded that if their child is experiencing any type of cold or flu symptoms, they should not send their child to school. If you are concerned about whether or not to send your child to school, please contact your child's school nurse. Also, if anyone in the household is being tested for covid, please keep all students home from school until you receive the test results.
TJHS FAMILIES: In-person learning will resume on Tuesday, April 6th at TJHS. School will be in-session for everyone.
