JCSD is aware of the rumor circulating on social media regarding an anonymous threat at JHS. Although this appears to be copied from a threat earlier today for a different JHS in another state, we are taking precautions. PA State Police have been notified and will be present throughout the day. We want to reassure you that we are taking the steps necessary to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
Reminder to anyone interested in completing their FAFSA: we will have a FAFSA Completion at JHS in the computer lab (Room 221) on Saturday from 10:00-12:00. A PHEAA representative will be present to assist with this. Please talk to your parents or guardians. This is a great opportunity to get everything completed!

FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION
Juniata High School will hold a financial aid information night for students seeking to further their education. The session will be from 6 to 7 PM on Thursday, September 30 in the high school cafeteria. A PHEAA representative will present an overview of financial aid for students going to colleges, trades, nursing and business schools.
The FAFSA Completion Day will be held at Juniata High School on Saturday, October 16 from 10-12 PM. A PHEAA representative will assist in the form completion. Please contact the Guidance Office at the school to register.

Summer school for grades 6-12 will be July 6-29 and be in-person at Tuscarora Junior High and East Juniata High School. Students will be able to make up TWO full-credit courses. We are pleased to announce commencement for the Class of 2021 will be at Dietrick Field on Wednesday June 2 at 7:30 p.m. We still however must still comply with the state mask mandate for attendance.
