FINANCIAL AID INFORMATION Juniata High School will hold a financial aid information night for students seeking to further their education. The session will be from 5 to 6 PM on Tuesday, October 11th in the high school cafeteria. A PHEAA representative will present an overview of financial aid for students going to colleges, trades, nursing and business schools. The FAFSA Completion Day will be held at Juniata High School on Saturday, October 22nd from 10-12 PM. A PHEAA representative will assist in the form completion. Please contact the Guidance Office at the school to register.

Attention Juniata High School Parents. Construction on our new main entrance is underway. This means that parent pick up in the afternoon is outside door 7 by the football stadium. Please do not block the handicap pickup between the cones while waiting for your student.

Reminder to all parents: The free lunch program for all students has expired. Please go to www.schoolcafe.com and fill out the application for free/reduced lunch/breakfast. Please do this as soon as you can so this is in place for the start of the school year. Also, since your student has not purchased meals in a while, please check your account balances. Attention Seniors, As you were made aware this spring, Act 158 makes it a requirement for you to have a "pathway to graduation". One of those pathways is to be proficient or advanced on all three Keystone Exams or to meet a minimum composite score. (Spring Keystone scores were just released and are now available for you to see in Sapphire.) If you have not received a passing score on your Keystone Exams and would like to take one this summer, we will be offering this on Tuesday and or Wednesday , July 26 and 27. Please call the school if you would like additional information. Please note you will still be able to retest in the winter.

PA's Act 158 of 2018 affects the graduation requirements starting with the class of 2023. Administration and guidance counselors met with the Juniors today to explain the 5 pathways to graduation so they can plan accordingly.
